Beatwish.Live ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

Google Account Information (When You Sign In with Google)

If you choose to authenticate using Google, we may access:

• Your Google account email address
• Your basic profile information (name and profile image)

We only access the data necessary to authenticate and provide Beatwish features. We do not access your Google password.

If YouTube-related scopes are used, we access only the minimum data required to support the feature (e.g., video metadata retrieval for music search). We do not access private Gmail content or unrelated Google data.

We access YouTube data only for the connected user's account and only to retrieve metadata required for Beatwish features. We do not modify, upload, or manage content.

Google Scopes

We request the following Google OAuth scopes:

• openid, email, profile (for authentication)
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly (to retrieve YouTube video metadata for music request functionality)

2. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data is used exclusively to:

• Authenticate users securely
• Create and manage DJ/admin accounts
• Provide YouTube-based music search functionality (if applicable)

We do not:

• Sell Google user data
• Use Google user data for advertising
• Share Google user data for marketing purposes
• Use Google user data beyond the functionality requested by the user

3. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not sell personal data, including Google user data.

We may disclose limited personal data only in the following cases:

Service Providers

We may share data with trusted service providers that process data on our behalf, such as:

• Hosting provider (Hostinger) for infrastructure and database hosting
• Gmail SMTP (Google) for transactional email delivery
• Logging and monitoring providers

These providers are contractually obligated to protect data and use it only for service delivery.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, or prevent fraud.

Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of the business assets.

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for independent use.

4. Data Retention

We retain:

• Account data while your account is active
• OAuth tokens only as long as necessary to maintain connection
• System logs for security and operational monitoring for a limited period

You may request deletion of your account at any time.

OAuth refresh tokens are stored in encrypted form in our database and are deleted when a user disconnects their Google account.

5. User Controls & Revocation

You may revoke Google access at any time by:

• Visiting your Google Account Security settings
• Removing Beatwish from connected applications

You may also request account deletion by contacting us (see Section 9).

Upon deletion, we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use essential cookies and local storage to maintain secure sessions and user preferences.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
• Access controls
• Limited internal access to personal data

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR regions), you may have rights to:

• Access your data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion
• Restrict processing
